The travel line is small for a conference this size: $159 per night plus tax and fees in the room block, one property for everything, and meals covered on the full conference days. Frame it against the cost of one week of rework on a live project and it pays for itself quickly.
"We are too busy on projects right now."
April 6–8 means three working days out, and the agenda is dense on purpose. Sessions run 30 to 60 minutes, making it possible to build a focused agenda around the topics most relevant to your role while leaving some flexibility to stay connected to urgent work.
