Breakout Session
Streamlining Complex Concrete Construction with Custom Bluebeam Markups
Wednesday (10/1)
2:30 PM
– 3:30 PM
Terrace Level | Albright
Skill Level: Beginner

This session highlights how digital workflows using Bluebeam and custom markups supported planning, ordering, and tracking on a complex multi-story concrete project. Structural slab drawings were combined into unified floor plans, and custom markups were used to define pour zones, reinforcement areas, and varying slab thicknesses. With the help of custom fields and formulas, teams tracked quantities, progress, and placement status in real time, improving material coordination and field verification.

The workflow enabled accurate volume calculations, live progress tracking, and seamless communication between office and field teams—all within Bluebeam. Attendees will take away practical strategies for using markups, data fields, and reporting tools to manage complexity and increase efficiency on construction projects.
