This session explores three key areas essential to managing Bluebeam Revu at scale: Licensing, Standards, and Updates.

LICENSING: What does it take to manage licensing for over 1,000 employees? We’ll cover the transition to named user licensing, onboarding 100+ new users each year, offboarding departing employees, and accommodating 100+ summer interns. We’ll also address the challenge of assigning the correct license based on each user’s role in the company.

STANDARDS: Once users are properly licensed, how do you maintain consistency? We’ll discuss strategies such as using a network-based stamp location, creating department-specific Profiles, and building Project-specific Markups with custom subject fields. Toolsets are added (not imported) to ensure control, and custom Status Managers are used to support quality and consistency.

UPDATES: We’ll also share how software updates are managed through a custom deployment that suppresses end-user notifications. A company-specific startup.pdf serves as a communication hub for new features, tips and tricks, training resources, and announcements when a new version of Revu is ready for installation.
